Sermon: Who do you trust? 10.01.16

Jeremiah 17 : 5 – 9

sermon of the LordThis is what the Lord says:
“Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
who draws strength from mere flesh
and whose heart turns away from the Lord.

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”
The heart is deceitful above all things
and beyond cure.
Who can understand it?

Below is the comment.

We need to trust in God. Those who trust in God have peace. Those who trust in human being have always troubles because the heart is deceitful.

You cannot understand the secret of the heart of your partner. The heart that we are talking about is your Soul not the medical heart. God is very intelligent, we cannot see our soul. God wants us to trust Him in order to understand our partner by His spirit because we cannot understand what is hidden in the heart of our partner.

You cannot successfully trust men.

What can you say about the wife of Job? >>> Job was surprised to be advised by his wife to curse God. Job 2:9

What can you say about the wife of Lot? >>> The heart of Lot ‘s wife was attached to things of the World. Luxury was her treasure, so her heart was attached to it. Genesis 19: 26

Men are changeable, the picture that men present today may be different from the one they present you tomorrow.

So, man is not complete because we have defaults that is why we need each other, but those who trust in God and follow His Will are righteous because we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

If you trust in God, you will have God ‘s Mission and you will always follow Him in good and bad to succeed your Mission.

In good and bad, you will always have peace because the market of peace can only be found in the Will of God. There is no peace when you do not follow the will of God. If you do not follow God then you follow the devil, those who follow the devil have their souls sold to Hell.

The Prophet L.N Justin gave an example of himself, for 20 minutes he went to Hell when he died and he saw people he knows chained in Hell while physically they are still living in Botswana.

Let us prepare our end on earth, like Paul: 2 Timothy 4: 7

God bless you
